Find out what you actually purchased

Read the final order summary and locate all recurring items. Some services sell membership plus medication, while others sell a bundled program. A financing installment can continue under its own agreement even after you stop using the service.

The pharmacy stage can change the answer

Ask whether the prescription has merely been proposed, issued, transmitted, prepared, or shipped. Those stages are often used in refund policies. Do not infer them from a welcome email or from the fact that a parcel has not arrived.

A guarantee has its own requirements

An outcome-related guarantee may require a minimum participation period, documented check-ins, or a request during a specific window. It is not necessarily a general refund policy for any reason.

Keep the request unambiguous

State the plan name, order identifier, effective cancellation requested, and whether you also seek a refund. Ask for the date of the last charge and the status of any pending prescription.

Keep a screenshot or copy of the submission and the response. A conversation about dissatisfaction is not always processed as a cancellation, and a cancellation confirmation is not automatically a refund approval.

Arrange continuing care

Tell the prescriber if you are stopping because of cost, availability, or tolerability. Ask what the medical plan should be and whether another clinician needs a treatment summary. Do not change a dosing schedule simply to use the last of a prepaid supply.
